Dethatching
Dethatching removes the thick layer of dead grass, roots, and debris that builds up between your lawn’s soil and green blades, which can block air, water, and nutrients from reaching the roots if it gets too thick. Using a dethatcher, we gently pull out this excess material—especially helpful in South Jersey’s humid climate and cool-season grasses—to improve root health, reduce disease risk, and make fertilization or overseeding far more effective.
